There's A Bible For Everyone!
Welcome to All About Bibles! We live in a truly blessed time, when Bibles for everyone are plentiful and in virtually every price range and style, as well as multiple translations. We have Bibles for kids, with information for children from birth to teen years. You will find Bibles with pictures and easy to read print as well as Bibles that help teens deal with the issues facing them in this day and age.
Bibles for men are available in many translations and are geared to interest areas such as fatherhood and its responsibilities, or life application Bible studies, just to name a few. We move on to Bibles for women. You will find devotional Bibles for women, with special study helps and articles written by such authors as Stormie O'Martian. In addition, we looked at Bibles for young girls and teens, and found NIV True Images: The Bible for Teen Girls, which has many wonderful articles to help girls deal with issues of self image as well as purity and abstinence. Of course, when it came to daily devotional Bibles, the issue was limiting our review to just a sampling of the many wonderful examples I found! My favorite is the ESV One Year Bible, perfect for the new Christian, which breaks down the Bible into daily readings and study helps. Once again, when it came to finding study Bibles, the problem was only mentioning a few...probably the most interesting is the ESV Study Bible. It is always helpful to have background on the various books of the Bible. Parallel Bibles, a great help in digging deeper into God's Word, are available in English/Spanish and even Hebrew/English, as well as having multiple translations side by side. Here again the question is not whether there are such Bibles available, but rather which one is the best for me? Outreach is certainly an important part of Jesus' Great Commission, and I would be remiss if I failed to mention the Spanish Bibles, Jewish Bibles and Catholic Bibles that are available today. What a blessing it is to know that we can travel to South American countries and have a Bible printed in Spanish with which to evangelize! For those of us who are struggling with aging and the ever-shrinking printed word, large print Bibles and giant print Bibles are here to make reading God's Word easier. And for the traveler or sight-impaired, we have audio Bibles, available on cassettes, CDs and MP3 players! Special occasions such as baby dedications and christenings, weddings and ordination ceremonies, all call for gift and award Bibles. It is important to protect the Word, and we're delighted to bring you information on Bible cases, Bible covers and Bible accessories such as highlighters and magnifying pages, as well as tabs for keeping track of the books of the Bible. For those who are most comfortable studying the Word on a computer, we located a number of examples of Bible software for your edification.
